Tell us about Embolden Creative and what you do and how you do it.

That's such a big question, but one of my favorite things to talk about.

I always think the best way to help people understand what we're all about is to tell them how it all got started.

And that was because, so I moved to Charlotte almost 20 years ago now, December will be 20 years, to work at WCNC.

And so I was there for 19 years as I left as the senior investigative reporter.

But about 10 years ago, my boss in the newsroom, who is not there anymore, I want to make that clear, called me in and said, you're the oldest woman in the newsroom.

What's your backup plan? Yeah, I see the look on your face.

I mean, I can see in terms of video production and stuff like that, but what about the talking to people part of it?
