I had a very loud voice when I got here, and I learned to tone it down, but I still have a voice, and I've really learned to say what I mean, mean what I say, and not say it mean.

So, um, the following year, 2012, I told her, you know, I found a better package, a bundle package that I did, and the insurance was way cheaper than what it was when I originally started.

So it was a little difficult for her to give me the money.

She wanted me to go to the borough to get it from her.

But eventually, that worked out for that six months.

The following six months, um, the insurance increased a little bit, so did mines.

So I told her, once again, "You should put the car, the insurance in your own name." And it probably would've been, like, maybe $100 more.

Parkinson's affects everyone differently, so some people might want some exercises that push them a little bit more too.

But it doesn't use preexisting terms within source books or lore or, or novels or anything.

It uses its own language to describe those creatures and its own names, like the Laetitia Medusa.

One of my favorite things to do recently is to, completely out of context, say to one of my friends who I'm still working on getting him to listen, I say, "Hey, so, like, is there a creature that..." And then I would, like, describe whatever was just described in whatever episode, and he'll go, "Hmm, that sounds like this." And then I'll look it up and be like, "Hell yeah, it looks like that." [laughs] I just really enjoy how it doesn't rely on you having, like, a preexisting knowledge or, like, deep knowledge of Mythos to be able to really get into it and understand it.

Although, I do have to laugh occasionally when, I think it was epis- uh, the episode where Lila first meets L- Lenny and, what was it? Lenny's just like, "Hi, you must, you must have a background in medicine." And, and Lila's just like, "No, just first aid." And I'm just like, wow, okay.

So she's got base medicine stats-

So part one is what is your favorite episode, and then part two is if you could voice anyone else in the show besides your character, who would you choose?

What else is this potentially doing?

So the, what happens with these treatments is it gets into the bloodstream of your dog, and then the tick or the flea bites into your dog's skin and ingests the blood and then dies.

So, and it, it's, a tick can, in order for these to take effect, the tick needs to be on your dog's body for 24 to 48 hours before it dies.

So it's already attached, and there's diseases in these ticks.

Lyme disease, deer, sheep carry them.

Whereas Bug, what Bug does is it makes it unappealing for them even to attach onto your dog.

So these chemicals are designed to kill the tick.

It's a great smell.

One day, Michelle was at a cafe with her girlfriend after a particularly hard day

I was talking about what I was consuming and how horrific it was, and she said to me, "Well, that's the price of war." It felt incredibly heartless, and it was incredibly painful when she said that to me.

I had this [laughs] rage.

That was really confused by being in this relationship where someone gave you all this, like, affection and love bombing and all of that.

They had conversation after conversation, trying to understand and sort out their differences

I said, "I can't accept that." She would say, "But I respect your opinions on things, and you can have your opinion, and I'm not trying to change it, and I respect where you're coming from." But I could not get out of my head how, yeah, that may be true, but I don't think my opinions are hurting other people, and so how can we put those two viewpoints on an even playing field?

And so how do you kinda decide what you want to eat?

Honestly, I listen to my body.

I see what it's craving.

I mean, sometimes it's, it wants sugar.

I feel like as the older I've gotten, I've, I've become more, I crave protein a lot.

Like, what were you struggling with, both either physically or emotionally and, and just the concept of what you knew you wanted but the information that you hadn't yet obtained?

Yeah.

Um, so I think where I was at before was I was working harder, not smarter, basically.

And I, I, you know, working out and doing cardio and not seeing a bit of change, and I was getting frustrated with that, um, because I've never had...

I've never been ha- I've never had a weight problem.

I've never been, you know, obese or anything like that.

I've always been lean because I've been so active, and I guess my metabolism was high.

And I saw this picture, and I just thought, "You don't even look anything like me, never mind a combination of my mother and you would form me.

And another thing I noticed sort of building on that is then when our son was trying to dig a little bit deeper, uh, into what each university was about, if you dig into the websites, not every university knows what it's about, and so they blend together.

That's probably what holds you back from making that decision and, and taking that leap is just what is, what are other people gonna think.

Um-And but, yeah, like you just gotta live your life, and it's the absolute best decision that I ever made following my heart to do it, and I'm just so glad that I just didn't let that outside noise kind of, um, s- you know, stop me from doing it, and I think that's probably what some, you know, some people do do.

They're just scared of, like, just taking that leap.

And we live in a neighborhood that is wonderful, and on Fridays, we would, um, all the kids would, like, play hockey in the street or play basket- Like, they would all get together.

And we would order pizzas and sit outside and, you know, um, like, you know, everybody would, like, have a drink or something.

Lisa is standing a few paces away, watching her friends and her boyfriend go head-to-head.

Questions like, "I wanna see your license.

I wanna see this and that." And he's like, "Why would I have to show you it?" Like, being very defensive with her.

Everything that Lisa told us, he told us almost for word.

It was almost like a rehearsed line.

But then the waitress came over to take our order, and he wanted to get the crispy chicken, but can you get the skin off of it?

Yeah

... "You mean the crispy part?" And he's just like, "Yeah, like, that's a, a normal thing." But then he still made the waitress go back and was like, "Can you just, like, ask the chef if he could do a half crispy, half skinless chicken sandwich?"

Okay.

Like, he took me out to dinner because we, like, split this gift, which was, like, also kind of weird that he was like, "Let's just split the gift."

Yeah.

But then the waitress came over to take our order, and he wanted to get the crispy chicken, but can you get the skin off of it?

... it's gonna be different for each of you, but you can be like, "Oh, do you feel awful taking this one?" And were you able to support each other that way?

Mich recovered quite well after her egg harvest, whereas me-I always say, "If anything can go wrong, it's gonna happen to me." And I got ovarian hyperstimulation after my cycle and ended up with pneumonia, which then delayed us having a fresh transfer, and so we ended up having to freeze them all.
