Uh, the NYPD put out a warning for gold bar scams targeting older New Yorkers, and we've talked about n- uh, gold bar scams.

I like this one because it kind of highlights this, a scam being multi-step, making it harder for people to realize that it's a scam, and it's sc- it's been touched on where you're, like, talking about, uh, scammers re-victimizing people who are already the victims of scams, things like that.

This one is, uh, the first step is s- it starts with a fraudulent pop-up that is almost too cheesy to take seriously, where it's like, "You've been infected with a virus.
