Yes, it's New York and it's primarily in Brooklyn.

And that's because that's where the greatest number of Jews live in the United States.

And I just read an article this week about Jews that are fleeing France and fleeing the United Kingdom and fleeing Belgium because of the huge increase in Jew hatred, physical assaults, and just general persecution.

It's also happening, you won't believe this, in K-12 schools.

There's a huge increase in K-12 schools in the United States as well.

So how did this happen? What happened from that point? Because remember, the largest attacks against the Jews happened October 7th, 2023.

40 to 1, if you're just getting these whacked out theories and these crazy things and you're not hearing the other side and you're not hearing truth, I could see why people, you know, unfortunately are falling for the lie because they're just not getting the truth.

And this 40-day of fasting and prayer, Michelle, what's it all about? How can we engage with you?

Well, you know, this is nothing new.

This really began with Moses at Mount Sinai.

And this has been the biblical new year starts September 12th and 13.

And so historically, there's been annually on the calendar, there's 40 days of prayer and fasting.

And it's been observed since the time of Moses, all the prophets, Jesus, John the Baptist.

It's beyond the pale.

Well, it was an unprecedented situation in the Strait of Hormuz and transits continued, even though the strait was effectively closed.

There were maybe about 10, 12 percent of current levels.

And what we saw was that vessels that were willing to transit through the permission based northern corridor route of Iran were those that were geopolitically affiliated with Iran and or cargoes were going to India, China, Pakistan, who had diplomatic agreements with them to get their energy commodities through.

And in addition to those transits, we also saw through the Southern Corridor, through Omani waters, limited amounts of tankers go through with their automatic identification signal, their vessel transponder turned off with guidance and support from the US.

So what does that process look like when... insurers and ship operators sort of feel out to see if safety is real or if it's still kind of risky.

Well, I think firstly, ship owners won't wait for the agreement to be signed before they'll start transiting.

It depends on your risk appetite, who owns the vessel, where it's sailing and how long the vessel has been stranded, because there have been ships there that have continued to trade.

And I know you have a real love and affection for Israel and maybe some concerns or issues there.

Well, I do.

I have concerns about the agreement because the one thing we know, Iran has never kept an agreement.

We cannot count on their word.

And even though this is the fourth generation of leadership, still the ideals that they adhere to is Shia Islam.

And that's really what they're dedicated to.

They're not political.

Michelle, what's your take on what's happening over there?

They were trying to get a deal done with Iran, and Iran, in essence, just refused, and then we gave them a deadline, and I guess they didn't take it seriously, and that's how we got to where we are today.

Well, that's true.

This has been actually a forty-seven-year problem that we've been dealing with president after president.

Since nineteen seventy-nine, we've been dealing with this problem, and why is that? Uh, people don't realize, but Iran was actually a very modern country in nineteen seventy-nine.

The women wore makeup, went to college.

They drove cars.

They wore Western clothing.

That is not normal, so people understand.

Just what's your take on that?

Well, my take is that they don't care if we do better.

We're just normal people, all of us.

We're just normal people living our lives, trying to have a better life for our kids and try to end our lives well.

And you just get the sense from them that either they're lazy Or they just really don't care.

They're not interested in making sure that the United States does better.

All they want is more of a bigger government.

So your thoughts on the disrespect that she and Ilhan Omar and others showed to the president?

What you saw last night is Ilhan Omar.

That's who she is.

She's a very arrogant, disrespectful person, as is Rashida Tlaib, who represents a district in Michigan.

And both of them, they will tell you themselves Tlaib represents Gazans.

She represents what she calls Palestinians, Gazans.

That's her first priority.

So they actually went to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and they hired people off the streets to be the actors.

They turned out to be some very good actors.
