Do you specifically go after stories that are being ignored by the mainstream media? And I wonder, does that come with its own challenges that you become a sort of niche publication? How do you strike a balance there?
21:37
Well, we're only niche because of our size.
21:40
I mean, the lawyers threaten us all the time.
21:43
I had a lawsuit from BHP earlier this year.
21:47
And instead of engaging lawyers, because they cost too much and they, you know, once they get going, sending each other letters, then, you know, it's game on for the fees.
21:56
So I just represented myself and BHP walked away.
21:59
They, you know, I was there with a coal miner.
AndyHOST
24:31
How has that gone for the organisation?
LarsonHOST
31:27
and just for so my understanding of ideomorph is i mean basically it's a morphing algorithm um for taking html from the server putting it into your dom but doing it sort of in an efficient way that's based on mostly matching up the ids or that's sort of the the core yeah
31:46
yeah yeah so ideomorph um the idea was yeah matching ids you keep the ids To begin with, you capture them up front, and then you know which ones match, and then you can make smarter decisions.
32:00
You don't have to...
32:01
Like in a morphing, the issue with morphing is you've got a whole lot of elements on the left and a whole lot of elements on the right, and you've got to find which of them match up, which of them are lining up.
32:13
And the issue is they could have reordered, they could have changed.
32:19
If they've both got an ID, then you can... line them up perfectly and you don't lose any state because you know those are the same item that was the idea and if you if you already know these this this item's got an id and it's in the upcoming other side it also has the same idea you've found out that they're both there you can make a decision say i need to keep this don't throw this away and and then you match it up better so it's just that that was the idea and the idea was to keep your video playing and all that kind of thing um but there was always contention that idiomorph was designed as a generic it was used by turbo it wasn't really hdmi specific um and it didn't plug into hdmx very well yet it was an extension You couldn't do hxswaprob properly on it because there was no way to pass the name of the swap styles for idiomorph into an rob swap properly.
33:14
They used a colon inside the name of the swap style and the colon means something in hxswaprob.

This is HX Partial?
15:15
Yeah.
15:16
And that just creates more fear in the system.
15:19
We see leaders who are very focused, you know, rightly on ambition and visions and driving to ensure that we provide even higher quality care for patients.
15:33
But if you've got drive and ambition accompanied by threat, then what you get is more anxiety, busyness without meaning, exhaustion, overwork, frustration, and people leaving.
15:47
So we need to, in this difficult environment, what we need is leadership, which is about supporting and enabling people and creating a sense of safety and safeness.
16:00
So as it were, not creating conditions where people feel threatened, but also creating conditions where people feel cared for by their colleagues, where they're nurtured by their colleagues.
16:11
You know, I'm not talking about some soft cushions, scented candles approach to leadership.
18:42
But in those darker spots, how do we bring them along with us?
2:27
Would you be able to run us just a little bit through the background of that and how Michael West Media was kind of around that?
2:34
Yeah, so we've been backing, we've been writing about Simon for... about three years.
2:40
And this is a guy who worked as a coal truck driver and a miner, basically, at the gigantic Mount Arthur coal mine in the Hunter Valley.
2:52
He broke his back in 2016 and while he was recuperating, first of all, they called him back to the office before the medical results had come through and he had to keep working with a broken back.
3:03
But then he found out that he was employed as a white collar worker, as a desk jockey like us, Joel.
3:11
So he went through the paperwork.
3:13
There's some strange stuff in there.
