Absolutely.

So risk-adjusted returns, if we step back and just look at the bigger picture, for me personally, there are always three sets of eyes on a retirement plan.

The first set of eyes is the participant.

The participant typically, very, very broad term and perhaps not all that fair, but very broad terms, wants the ending balance on the statement to be higher than the beginning balance of the statement.

So absolute rate of return.

The second set of eyes is typically the investment committee or the representatives of the plan sponsors.
