um in the 21st century mike i'd love to have you tell me about your class at northwestern starting with who the population is that's in the class

all right yeah so i teach the it's industrial engineering and it's an undergrad class and we call it client project challenge and we run it junior year so we made a conscious decision with some advice from our advisory board several years ago to run a junior year so the students could have this experience a before their junior year internship and second, before they start looking for jobs in the fall.

And so it's a little bit different that, you know, you don't do it at the end of your senior year.

So, you know, there's a trade off that they don't have, you know, necessarily all the classes.

But then on the other hand, you know, it does help them in their job search and then it helps them, uh, I don't know.

It just helps, you know, helps them in their senior year to get more, you know, have a different view of the classes they take senior year.

So we run it spring of junior year.
