jury.
12:16
There's more than enough evidence here at least to get in front of a grand jury and let them decide, rather than have what we are guessing are allegations and some facts, if we can call them that, leak out over time.
12:32
When it comes to sexual assault, one in five college women is sexually assaulted, or at least it notifies someone that they've been sexually assaulted.
12:42
It's one of the most underreported crimes among college students.
12:46
And so when we talk about this, I think, one, we've got to talk about it in a way that doesn't stop women or decrease the likelihood that women will come forward when these things have happened.
12:58
while also being able to give men who are being alleged to have committed these acts the innocence that they're afforded by the law.
13:10
But in the court of public opinion, though, we are allowed to make judgments.

Which side, if you had to define which side of the ledger El-Sayed is picking in terms of his approach coming out of this debate that he had with Mike Rogers, is he on the side of the people with the bullhorns yelling at Meir Mamdani or is he on the side of the very stoic looking Meir Mamdani? Yeah.
18:49
I think it's interesting.
18:51
El-Sayed has managed to triangulate in a way that a lot of Democrats haven't.
18:55
He has talked about masculinity and what it means to be a man in a way that Democrats have often been uncomfortable with and taken it straight to his Republican opponent.
19:08
I mean, far too often Democrats have played contact sports by using pillows.
19:14
We just have not been, you know, the strong-tongued party.
19:18
And Republicans have been dominant when it comes to defining Democratic candidates.

true, you gotta be tough, yeah.
15:01
What, what's your take on that?
15:02
I mean, my experience on campaigns has been that whenever there are leaks, it's one of two things: strategy, and it's a planned leak, or it's staff that's really upset about how the campaign's being run and kind of what the tenor and tone of the campaign is.
15:15
I think the fact that Republicans are doubling down in Alaska, though, says more about where Republicans are and where, uh, the party is in this election cycle.
15:23
I mean, you have the president going to Montana, going to Arizona, going to Alaska.
15:28
You don't see him in Florida, where Ashley Moody's running, uh, against Angie Nixon, a candidate who no one expected to see.
15:34
You don't see him, you know, running in North Carolina, or going to North Carolina right now, where Roy Cooper is getting ready, uh, to take that seat, and Republicans are actually pulling money out of the seat.

That has n- that transcends American politics certainly.
46:06
And I think voters who are sitting at home are just as mad at Democrats over their lack of calling out Hunter Biden as they are at the Trump family.
8:36
Do you agree with, would you call this media malpractice?
8:41
Let me first start by saying I actually was a criminal defense attorney in New York.
8:46
I know.
8:46
So I uniquely understand how the law works here.
8:50
And John is right.
8:51
These are allegations.
8:53
But first, we have grand juries for a reason.
12:38
It was very strong.
11:42
you'll never be able to afford filet mignon so we're going to have a grocery run by the government you know what i'm saying it's like leaning into this idea that working class people should just give up being able to achieve the american dream on their own and i really reject that
11:57
Yeah, I mean, I would say, first of all, we're the first generation.
12:01
I'm 39 turning 40.
12:02
So we're the first generation that is seeing a decline in our lifestyle.
12:07
Our parents' generation had a better standard of living than we're going to have.
12:11
And that's just a fact.
12:13
What we've had is Democrats not being willing to address that fact.

What lane would you take them to go? Would you tell them to embrace the DSA at this moment? Would you tell them to embrace, you know, Israel's committing genocide, free Palestine, abolish ice, trans women and women's sports? Like, would you tell them to just, you know, accept that the DSA is where the energy is? Or would you tell them to sort of carve out a more centrist lane? And if so, what would it be?
