Leah and I are pretty, pretty, uh, pretty much against green screens and blue screens.

We try to avoid them at all costs.

Um, there's, there was a, the occasional blue screen here and there, but we, we built the sets, um, in a quarry in Thailand.

Um, and, and so everything was done for real.

Was that an effect or did that really happen before? Oh, no, no, no.

no no um you look too happy with that kind of scratch oh um oh when we um so when we were scouting for fall two i i uh i stepped backwards and fell in a hole i fell in on fall um and yeah i ended up getting about eight stitches in my arm this is on the location scalp um so i probably got the most hurt on the movie but that was um that was we were scouting in thailand um looking for some cliffs, looking for some mountains, all of those things, and I took a little tumble.

So what advice somebody give you or were able to give as a young filmmaker?

The advice I would give to any young filmmaker is to go out and make films.

That's the best advice I can give anybody.

Go out and shoot short films, go out and learn how to work with actors, try to see if you can raise some money, learn about working with producers, learn everything you can.

So you should learn about editing, sound design, all those things, and it's all at your fingertips now.
