How does that journey bring you into winemaking?
6:37
Well, there were vineyards across the highway from us, Palmison, Almaden.
6:42
I'm trying to think of the third one to respect your request, but there was a small vineyard across, a third one.
6:48
It was from a New York group that had purchased it.
6:51
Anyway, so I tasted grapes over there just as a kid.
6:55
But then I saw my friends, their older siblings had gone to university and just went directly from high school and didn't like the job they got when they got out.

You know, we do sell 60% of our wine outside the United States, so, and we always thought it was very important to be able, like Mr. Mondavi, to be able to have a wine that competes on the world stage.
2:21
Now this is harvest time, so we're just kind of starting, you know, and keeping our fingers crossed, right?
2:28
six to happen.
2:30
So far we've had really good luck.
2:32
We started last Thursday and now this week we'll pick every day this week except for this Thursday and it's turned out to be a very promising vintage.
