I don't know, just kind of like where your head was at.

Yeah, so sonically, I think we wanted something a little bit more, just not so complicated and just a simple riff and just, you know, having fun with it.

And my head was just kind of there.

And we had written a lot of just, you know, heavy riff-oriented rock songs.

And they were a little bit more complicated to write.

And this one, I wanted something more simple, a little bit more... maybe a little bit more mainstream sounding.

And at the time I just, I was pulling from this really heartache relationship that my friend was going to.
