United States Representative

10:28
So what has been your philosophy around leadership and how you run an effective congressional office?
10:34
Well, like...
10:35
Growing up in, I'm going to tell you a couple of quick stories.
10:37
Growing up in the stores, like my dad always took great pride on like the longevity of some of our employees.
10:44
And so, I mean, we're not that big of a company.
10:46
I think right now we probably have on the books maybe 280 employees.
10:52
But like those numbers have shrank over the last 110 years and grown.

14 MINS LATER

24:27
Tell me a little bit more about your intentions.
39:49
Yeah.
39:49
You know, I have no problem with public schools, but I am a huge advocate of ed choice and the voucher program.
39:56
There's only way, one way we could keep the teachers' union on their heels, and that is by giving mom and dad a choice, especially urban mom and dad.
40:05
If you have a faltering school district in any of the big cities, you know, whether it's Detroit, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, you name them, Atlanta, their public schools are just garbage, and these poor urban moms, they need alternative, uh, routes to educate their kids.
40:22
So when you do ed choice and the voucher program, what a wonderful golden choice for mom and dad to get a better education, but when you leave it up to the teachers' union, this is what they're gonna get.
40:33
Always remember, folks, they wanna replace God with government.
40:36
The more government, the better for these people.

6 MINS LATER

46:33
Yeah.
9:33
How concerned are you about that dynamic in the education system?
9:38
I'm extremely concerned.
9:40
I did two tours on the school board in four years as president.
9:44
I have no problem with public schools, but I am a huge advocate of ed choice in the voucher program.
9:50
There's only one way we could keep the teachers union on their heels, and that is by giving mom and dad a choice, especially urban mom and dad.
9:59
If you have a faltering school district in any of the big cities, You know, whether it's Detroit, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, you name them, Atlanta, their public schools are just garbage.
10:12
And these poor urban moms, they need alternative routes to educate their kids.
14:11
Tell us what it's going to do and why we've had our eye off the ball on food safety for a long time.
28:15
How do you look at today's ruling? Was it a closed door with an open window?
28:20
You know, I was disappointed at it.
28:22
You know, I'm not going to lie.
28:23
You know, when I I was on the road, when I heard the news and I wasn't thrilled because I think the terrorists are actually working.
28:29
I do think that when you get into the nitty gritty, the Supreme Court did leave the door open.
28:33
I think they said to the president, not this path.
28:36
Give us a better path that we would like to put this through.
32:15
The idea that these got retracted en masse seems like a pretty big rebuke to the woke era of the CIA.
24:00
How do you look at today's ruling? Was it a closed door with an open window?
24:05
You know, I was disappointed at it.
24:07

24:22
Give us a better path that we would like to put this through.
28:00
The idea that these got retracted en masse seems like a pretty big rebuke to the woke era of the CIA.
30:38
Is Congress or the administration got a window right now to maybe rein in some of this nonprofit stuff and take away designations for people who aren't doing public good, but public
30:47
harm? It's the oldest saying in the book, follow the money.
30:50
These NGOs are out of control.
30:52
And we have two wonderful Americans that are going to go to bat for you.
30:55
We have leadership through Comer and through Jim Jordan.
30:59
These two chairs are going to take the judiciary and the oversight, and we're not going to leave any rock unturned.
31:05
We're going to follow the money.
34:46
Have we done enough to dismantle that system? Does Congress need to do more? Do they need to create more penalties for people who cheat under the color of law?
12:12
Is Congress or the administration got a window right now to maybe rein in some of this nonprofit stuff and take away designations for people who aren't doing public good but public harm?
12:22
IT'S THE OLDEST SAYING IN THE BOOK, FOLLOW THE MONEY.
12:24

12:29
WE HAVE LEADERSHIP THROUGH COMER AND THROUGH JIM JORDAN.
12:33
THESE TWO CHAIRS ARE GOING TO TAKE THE JUDICIARY AND THE OVERSIGHT AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO LEAVE ANY ROCK UNTURNED.
12:41
I DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.
12:42
I DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.
