What happened? How were you feeling and, and what were you trying to work out on the sideline?
0:07
Yeah.
0:07
Um, first of all, I just wanna thank God, you know.
0:10
Um, it's a tough sport.
0:12
It's a tough sport, physical sport, you know.
0:14
Um, you know, I, I got hit, uh, pretty good and, you know, just trying to, trying to, uh, get back out there.
0:21
I did, I did take some throws on the sideline to see how I felt, and I did not feel like I was gonna be able to, you know, give our team, uh, what we needed to, to be able to help us win that football game because of, you know, the pain that I was feeling.

Just how hard is it for you at any point in the game to miss just with the history that you have when it comes to injuries?

Was it fair to say that you were somewhat raw in the first game in Michigan?
82:04
I, I think so.
82:05
I think, you know, you go back and watch the film and, um, you know, I just didn't, you know...
82:10
And I'm, I'm hypercritical of myself, and I think we all are here.
82:14
Um, you know, but I just look at it, I'm like, man, I, I, I don't think anyone this year beat us.
82:21
You know, I think we beat ourselves every time.
82:23
And, you know, you watch and, and you know, we had the turnover, you know, at our own 20 yard line, and then they got the kick.

What do you want to see from the offense on Wednesday night?
9:44
What do you attribute that to?
9:46
Um, time on task.
9:48
And I feel like, you know, I'm still learning.
9:51
Like, you see a lot of guys, I feel like people see a lot of guys in my class and seeing how well they're doing.
9:57
And they look at it as like, oh, I'm not doing that well.
10:01
And all these other guys are doing well.
10:02
But we in totally different situations.
12:36
Literally, every time I have an autograph, it's like, do you have a Sharpie? Do you have a Sharpie? Can I get a Sharpie? Like, what are you doing with Sharpie?
27:18
What was it like having the opportunity to sit behind Kirk Cousins that prepared you for the moment to take over as the starting quarterback at the end of the season?
27:26
Yeah, I mean, it was a lot of learning.
27:29
It took a lot to get to that point.
27:31
But obviously, I respect Kirk, who he is as a person and a player.
27:35
He was great throughout the whole journey, since day one, since I got there.
27:39
And he was nothing but supportive, the same way I was to him.
27:41
So it was great to be able to watch and learn from somebody who's been playing at a high level for so long.
30:08
And so when you look back on your rookie season and the opportunity that you got at the end of last year to start, what are some of the things that you're looking forward to improving on now that you've got more time to sharpen your game in the offseason?
