And so how did you know you wanted to get into engineering when you finished high school?

You know, to be fair, I really didn't know that.

I originally out of high school spent 10 years working in oil and gas.

But after the third economic downturn, I decided I wanted to do something else that's more insulated against layoffs and job losses.

And when I was picking my major, actually, I just took a notepad and wrote down all the individual topics that interested me.

Then I browsed through all the majors on the University of Regina website and And picked one that covered all of them.

And at the time that was environmental systems engineering.

Michael, what was it when you switched? I think you said earlier you had also heard an announcement that this program was being launched?
