It's a really good question.

When you think about it, 90-plus percent of our trade in Australia by volume arrives through our ports by sea, and almost everything on our shelves, in our pharmacies, in our fuel tanks come through our ports.

So the importance of it economically, you know, can't be overstated.

Uh, for 40, 40 years I was in law enforcement, the last 10, as you mentioned, managing the Australian border as the Border Force Commissioner for seven of those.

What I've noticed is increasingly how geopolitics, geoeconomics, technology, and of course commerce, they collide at the port.
