and uh justin's told us about what it was like flying them and everything but you're the man who actually programmed and set up the mission that they these autonomous aircraft flew can you tell us about that what were the goals of it what were

you trying to achieve and what were the constraints okay so obviously some of the constraints obviously we're going to stick to the airspace restrictions we're working in um so there was obviously that in mind we had an altitude limit uh And we didn't want to make it easy for the other pilots either.

So a lot of the mission was really about trying to be evasive.

We really wanted to put these guys through their paces.

So it was really about getting up there, doing a few loops, barrel rolls, things like that, just to try and really throw them off their game.

It's quite interesting in that regard, just trying to really evade them.

Obviously, we're what is being attacked, so it's really trying to make that hard.

They can't go, oh, you dived, but you didn't before...
