Anyway, so I said yes to that job, and I, I started, I started briefing him on January 4th, 2001 at the governor's mansion in, in Austin.

You know, I briefed him.

I was with him six days a week, um, wherever he was in the world.

In the Oval Office, we'd probably spend an hour, and I say we because George Tenet, the director, would join me.

The roles were I was the play-by-play guy and he was the color commentator.
