So the, the sort of unfortunate coincidence of timing that happened here was the Justice Department and the Trump and Trump family entities reached the settlement a couple of days before they had a court deadline to explain whether Trump controlled both sides and it wasn't actually a court case at all.

And that coincided with the possible, uh, uh, reconciliation votes in the Senate.
