You know, he rushed 22 times for 89 yards and a touchdown, and that was a huge factor, uh, in the game, combined with L.J. Martin's rushing.

But as far as this year goes, they do return, uh, um, Javion Cole, who was, like, sort of a semi-starter, I would say, last year.

He either led or was very high, uh, in the Big 12 rankings in interceptions.

So I consider him a pseudo-starter coming back.

And they were one of the best pass defenses in the country.

But is it kind of a close competition between those teams, those programs, and the top few or the top, you know, four or five teams in the conference? Or is Arizona kind of at the bottom of that list, in your opinion?

Yeah, I mean, I would say, like, perception-wise, they were never on the level of those teams last year.

But performance-wise...

They kind of were for a long stretch, and the coaches would tell you they were one fumble recovery away from beating BYU, right? They were arguably one strange officiating decision away from beating Houston.

The only game that they lost decisively was the game at Iowa State, right? Yeah.

and did not ever face Texas Tech last season, so we don't know how that would have gone.

I think it would have been difficult for them to beat Texas Tech because of that matchup between their defensive line and U of A's offensive line.

Just with the way college football is and what we know Arizona's going to lose and what they could lose after another successful season, how important is it that this next season is another 8, 9, 10 win, maybe even better season for the program and what it's trying to get to under Brent Brown?
