Yeah.

So they're saying that many of those present at this very significant conference were concerned at the number of mothers of illegitimate children who are driven to adoption, not because they do not wish to remain responsible for their babies or do not want to keep them with them, but because they leave hospital or mother and baby home when the child is 10 days old, that magic number always, and are unable to find accommodation where they can stay together.

So that's been made aware of them by the adoption societies involved, and it kind of goes on to express this and, and this is where it really comes home.

It says, "We have realized as part of this discussion that in many areas this alternative simply does not exist, and that in such areas, the mother cannot be said to have a free choice at all.

She is forced apart from the baby whether she wishes it or not, and regardless of her innate capacity as a mother.

It is not disputed that adoption is often the best solution," as per the organizations involved.

They see that as the best way.

Yeah.

Are you seeing a lot of development? Is there institutions coming in for that space? What does it look like right now?

I've seen a very serious pause on all development.

And I mean, we were speaking about this earlier today.

Over the last few weeks, I've been talking to some appraisers and some lenders, especially some of the credit unions and smaller shops where there's kind of a reckoning about When it comes to a lot of these land loans they did, a lot of people that wanted to execute on residential projects, I'm seeing very, very little get done period.

And I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but we are now not issuing any more building permits for new construction in Waterloo region because of a water supply issue.

And so it's been ongoing.

It all started coming to light about eight months ago.

I'm assuming this is putting upward pressure on everything, given that there's no new supply coming on.

Michael, do you get to race this year, or are you...

Well, uh, I am still deciding, I think like I raced at the driftless 100 this year, and I think that it's actually kind of harder than you would think to do both.

directing and racing.

I think that that's quite uncommon, obviously.

The fact that we are co-directing, we thought would make it possible.

And so I haven't ruled out the possibility that I will race Colesburg.

It's a smaller event typically than Driftless, but it doesn't have to be that way always.
