What were you doing between the apprenticeship and starting your own accountancy business?

I was a house DJ, DJing at nightclubs and pubs around the north-west of England, so Manchester, Liverpool, Preston.

I got my first set of decks when I was about 17, 16, 17, and straight out of school, and that is really what I wanted to do.

Then again, 2005, 2006, I was... working full-time in accountancy starting my professional qualifications my then girlfriend now wife had gone to university and as a way of hanging to go to see her at Manchester at the weekend I was like I'll see if I can get some DJ work which I did and then before I knew it I was DJing sort of three four nights a week and like revolution bars and places like that and it wasn't really that compatible with with my job as accountancy and I was sort of asked in a nice way to make a choice and I did and thought well again a bit like I was just saying earlier about going into accountancy with my own business I thought it was now or never and yeah basically I left my job and went off DJing sort of five six nine three we were promoting different nights.

We put on our own nights, ended up producing music, releasing music.

Yeah, a fairly decent level, at least for further on than why I thought I would get to.

But yeah, that was like my full-time job.

And then, of course, it's now Streets Woodfill.
