Specifically about fusion energy, what's it, you know, what excites you about the, the sector and the technology?

Yeah.

Well, uh, I... my joke is that I always get closer and closer to, like, the prime mover i- in engineering speak, that fr- that thing that makes things, uh, make things, makes things happen.

So solar is, you know, solar energy is you're collecting the solar from, from space, and it's hitting on a panel.

I was, you know, designing systems, installing them, and then ultimately helping companies to, uh, build utility scale solar.

Um, you know, and now [chuckles] in fusion, we're trying to recreate the sun itself on Earth, and that's just amazing.

Um, but what does that mean specifically? You get, um, tremendous amounts of power out of that reaction.

So maybe amongst other power solutions out there, so the maturity of it, commercialization, the potential it still has, how would you, how would you assess that?

So what's the actual theory of the case for a pause rather than the tariff cost allocation approach that some of the other states are taking? And then could this be a template that other blue states may follow? Michael?

Yeah, you know, and I hope that this becomes less of a, you know, blue versus red state or politicized question.

As I always get on my soapbox for a moment and say, reindustrialization is an American problem and challenge.

But I think that the state of New York... just fully recognized that we don't have the process, procedures, and policies in place to effectively understand how to develop the data centers, both from a community impact perspective, a generic community impact statement isn't going to cut it.

I think politically they understood, Hochul and the team understood that this that the backlash was real and was politically expedient to do this.

You know, the trade-off or the risk here is they could effectively lose out on a lot of that development by disincentivizing, you know, the speed that you see in the market is real.

And so other the developers are going to go to other places.

How about you, Michael, and your perspectives on

Do we have a new kind of program in operation with the rise of independent media globally? I mean, you know, anybody to say that that's a conspiracy theory needs to have a little bit of a think about it because it certainly is going on especially in the five iron nation countries uh with the rise of of independent media um i would suggest um

the the okay so so as far as like you know the continuation of mockingbird i mean some like some people claim and i i they're probably right walking board never really ended whether it's called now something else so it's still called mocking it never really ended right and i mean we've seen that in the early days of the pandemic with the operation of the nudge units that were using like the media in a very professional way to like you know uh convey a certain uh uh uh like plant literally was like an inception like putting an idea in people's head and people thought oh it's my idea i came up with it i'm so smart i listened to the tv and okay that's the lesson that i learned from them and i reached that conclusion myself so now i'm gonna go and get a jab i'm gonna put a mask i'm gonna go let myself down because i need to protect grandma right i'm so smart like i figured it out or maybe i need to wear like an n95 industrial mask or whatever so so that's that's nudging that's inception right so i mean that that program never really ended.

Right.

And I mean, look, I mean, those people.

OK, so here's the thing.

So like, you know, when I kind of had my realization and that was like, you know, in mid 2023, that something is not right, like on our side, something is not quite there.

Something doesn't add up.

So considering all of that, what is the future, especially when we're talking about that concept of free press and people accessing information and the responsibility of journalists moving forward into the future?

Or is it the opposite? That must be real because I saw it in a movie.

Yeah.

So there's two aspects of that.

So for a long time, I always thought that predictive programming was the primary thing.

Sorry, it's the only thing.

And I still think it is the primary thing.

It is the primary thing.

Are there signals that people can look for when they're seeing narratives, whether they're in fiction or in ad campaigns or in the news, the so-called news? What signals can people be looking for to indicate that they're being conditioned towards accepting something?
