that's great now i know um sports has been a big part of your makeup from an early age and um i think you did every sport at chatard from quarterback of the football team to uh baseball to basketball what um What was it that just sort of drew you in? Was it just sort of a natural gift? I know you've got a couple of brothers, your parents put you in it, but maybe talk a little bit about the role of sports and how it shaped you because I know you went on to become a student athlete with the Notre Dame baseball team and just what those experiences taught you, both Chittard and Notre Dame.
3:55
Yeah, look, you know, you grow up playing sports because it's fun.

And as you move up and get to different levels, you start to really see really why sports exist.
4:07
You're learning discipline, hard work, teamwork, communication, all those things that make you successful in life.
4:16
And I draw on so many of my experiences through athletics over the years, now in my professional life, but also in probably more so personally.
4:25
Um, as I'm raising my own, uh, children and trying to be a good husband to my wife, uh, you draw on all those experiences, all those coaches you had really started with my dad, um, trying to emulate him and then, uh, have some amazing coaches along the way.
4:39
And, um, And I look at that now and say, okay, I serve as a coach in what I do.
9:07
Tell me about how that first role came about and the sequencing there.
