I think because of the shortened preseason, every GM will probably tell you, because I know Jim Nill here in Dallas has said, "Yeah, it's nice to get the season started a little earlier," but it actually does complicate things with preparation and, and making those roster decisions, because you wanna see some of these fringe AHL, NHL guys against pretty good competition, and you, you don't have as many options, uh, as you used to in years past.

There's actually a rule with the new CBA that I wasn't aware of until the training, until training camp started, but, uh, veterans can only play two games.

So the, the teams have to kind of pick and choose where they use those two game slots.

It's actually made the, uh, powers that be work a little harder putting preseason rosters together on a night by night basis, because, you know, you might have veterans who have to play two games or can only play two games, and maybe they wanna play the last preseason game.

A handful of guys wanted to play the last preseason game in St. Paul, so they... to, to try and get in the, in the rhythm of a season, so they'll be there for that.

But then you, you have to kind of craft your roster around those decisions that come in games three and four.

I've been to that stadium 100 times, and I was never more excited to walk through the doors than I was today.

And I think the tent gives it kind of a unique feel.

And for the ground to be elevated up the way it has been, and to see natural grass is really cool.

It felt like a genuine soccer stadium as opposed to what I've gone to for the last 15 years.

Will you agree with me that the, with the way that it is set up, it, the vibe and the feel makes it feel like a different venue?

Yeah, because it feels like the seats are more connected to what's happening on the field, as opposed to the way it is on Cowboy game days, where you have the full field suites surrounding everything.
