They’re Building a Business Around the Injury No One Can See

So I'm sure Mike can explain more about what's released into the blood and why we just started finding that out.

So I think I would just say in kind of the simplest terms, what it kind of looks like is, you know, you've got a few different types of cells within your brain, right? So you've got neurons and astrocytes or glial cells.
M

So there's a few different things that are involved and make up your brain.
M
14:24Michael DarrowGUEST
And what we're actually looking at is the breakdown of, you know, when you have an injury, the axon on your neuron, that neuron will actually die and it'll break apart into the components that it's made of.

And those components then have to get moved outside of the body and released.

And so when those break down, they move into your bloodstream and you actually filter them out over time and then you get rid of them.
