And, um, you know, my wife was literally, you know, withering away.

You know, you can see it in front of you.

My kids are eating up over it, and the kids are trying to enjoy high school at the time, you know? And they're, they're trying to live their life, and they're not able to do that.

Um, it was a really, really tough time.

Um, and then, uh, just out of the blue, her sister's, uh, husband, Jerry, uh, who was in the military, said, "Hey, what blood type do you have?" And my wife told him it, it, it was the rarest of types, and he said, "Well, I'm the same type," he goes, "I had it tested in the military." So he decided he would come up and get tested over at St.

Barnabas in New Jersey to see if he was a match.

[laughs]

I know he got beat, but eh.

Listen, um, I thought it was a...

At least from my standpoint, and you gotta understand where I come from, right? I'm not just, not just the play-by-play guy for these shows.

I'm the storyteller.

I'm the narrator, and I'm the one who has to explain who these characters are to the audience, especially the new audience, so they can develop a connection with him.

Uh, Sami has an, uh, an incredible connection with the audience, um, because he's been doing this for a very long time.

He's been in the business since, you know, 2002.

Was there ever a Bray Wyatt story or memory, moment you had with him that stuck out, uh, in your experience?

Can you tell us a little bit about what goes into a rescue operation?

Absolutely.

So the $3,000 rescue is Glen Lake Fire Department's cost for a multi-agency technical rope rescue.

So if somebody were to fall and break a leg or have a medical emergency and they're somewhere between halfway and the top, the fire department will come out, we'll anchor to a big wooden post that we have out here, and we'll set up a mechanical advantage rope system.

and we will drag them back up the hill and that's really time intensive and labor intensive and that's Glen Lake Fire Department's cost for recovery on that operation.

Any call that comes out here first comes to a ranger unless there's a known medical emergency on the other side of the line.

We get a lot of third party calls so folks that are reporting somebody's in duress when they're not actually in duress so in 2021 we changed how we respond out in the park so if a 911 call comes in at either number nine overlook or the dune climb it's going to come to rangers first and we'll get out and vet what's going on and then we'll call in additional resources

Just to be clear, this is not a rescue that people get when they're just exhausted and they feel like they can't finish, they can't make it to the top, right?

What should the fans be expecting there?

It seems the couple don't have an awful lot to offer, Michael, beyond their royal connections.
