But tell us, uh, Michael, how did it begin? How did you guys meet?

Well, uh, we met when I hired Courtney for a concert about 10 years ago to come play some original music.

And so we, uh, I, like I said, I recognized her as a sort of a different kind of classical musician, rather than just somebody that comes in, reads the music, and goes home and everything.

I mean, she had a little broader vision of things, and so we've done some things together.

She helped me with a, a cello piece that I was writing and some other stuff.

And then I had the idea, "So let's get a duo and go play, you know, uh, the classical music that we like-"

Uh, what does Courtney bring to the equation?

Well, uh, Courtney is a, you know, obviously a trained, you know, classical, you know, cellist in the, the best sense of the word and everything, and has gone to really good schools and everything.
