So I'd like to hear a little bit about the Bush Institute's efforts towards America 250.

Absolutely.

I am so excited to talk about America 250.

I love this topic.

It's something we're thinking a lot about at the Bush Institute, as I know a number of other organizations are.

But I just want to start by saying, you know, what an amazing honor to be alive during this monumental milestone for America.

I think I take away three things from this personally, and then I'll share a little bit about some of the work we're doing at the Bush Institute.

Talk to us about your background, passions, and anything that really led you to where you are today.

Sure.

Just a little bit of a snapshot on my career.

I started my career in healthcare in 1992, actually, in London at SmithKline Beach.

I'm where I was an intern during business school.

And then I was brought in for a full-time job.

It was just kind of a small executive training class that Jerry Karabels, who was president at the time, had initiated and ultimately ended up yielding some really great leaders like Ron Square from Array, Alexander Hardy, Genentech, Biomarin.
