I find that to be one of few successes.

Um, and I think that that existential dread is more a, an exa- or not an example, but it is a, an outcome of failure after failure after failure of regulation to have any meaningful impact on society.

And by that, I mean the pandemic is one example of this, uh, everybody being in, in different mindsets about masking and about what vaccines work.

And I don't understand, uh, to be quite frank, I don't understand anyone having any hope in any human beings at all because what reason do I have to have hope that any of them are going to...

That's a good idea because

I'm in a basement and there is a window.

They basically dug out next to the house space and then did all the stuff so that it drains properly or whatever.

I don't really know about that, but light does come through there.

But I have two levels of curtains, so it's completely blacked out for the sake of being able to control the light.

But when I first moved here, I didn't have that set up yet and it quickly became a problem.

And so I was able to fix that.
