I used to meet up with him at the local track near his place and he'd just help me out for a few hours every Sunday morning and tell me to jump and I'd sit there for two hours stressing over a jump and be in almost tears until I'd just do it.

And I think a lot of that came down to growing up, I didn't get to a track very often.

So I was at a track maybe twice every month.

Just with mum and dad working, they couldn't get me to a gate night, so it'd be every second weekend I'd be able to get to a track.
