So our funding

primarily as I've said comes from trusts and foundations.

We started off fairly small with a grant from the likes of Arts Council and Social Enterprise Kent and when it still existed the Kent Art Investments Fund That gradual growth allowed for me to kind of learn on the job and also importantly build evidence that we could deliver engaging and impactful programming.

This got us to a place three years ago where we were able to secure National Lottery Community Fund core funding, which has allowed us to create five part-time roles to cover 40% of our projected annual turnover for five years.

I mean, it had got to the point where it was otherwise unsustainable unless we were getting paid.

So this was a real turning point.

Being able to work year round and create capacity to put in continual funding applications and deliver our programming has been invaluable.

want to keep supporting our queer community and we want to see its
