you know like and actually a lot of it overlapped it was a lot of the same sciences and stuff so i mean i had to do some extra chemistries and stuff for the pre-med part but um so i i well finished at western and um I started out working at some botanical gardens in Owensboro.

And I also worked at the Science Museum in Owensboro.

Felt like I was kind of like Bill Nye the Science Guy doing the fun science experiments with the kids there.

And in the meantime, I was trying to decide, do I want to go to med school? What do I want to do? Well, this PA...

came brought her kids into the science museum and i really didn't even know what a pa was physician assistant and and i was telling her you know i'm i'm thinking about med school and she's like well have you ever considered pa school no like tell me more about it what can you do so she was telling me all this stuff that she could do like as a pa and um she was you know, was practicing medicine.

She had a collaborative physician, but she still like pretty much had her own patients and can make a lot of her, you know, own decisions.
