Why are realities, hashkafic realities, with makoros and rishonim and achronim, when you see them rejected by what is the mainstream, how does that affect your own yiddishkeit? How do you communicate to your own children that even though there are a lot of people who vilify us, but we got to stay with our message? How do you do it?

You know, Rabbi Aaron Lichtenstein, you will not believe, but he is one of my greatest rabbis, influenced me very much.

Even I came from the Haredi, and you know why I mention his name? Because when you mention the word Ashkafah, as you know, in the Haredi, you don't have Ashkafah.

There is only one Ashkafah that everybody speaks in.

It comes mainly from the Lithuanian community.

It's about sitting and starting Torah.

That's the only Ashkafah.

What are you creating? If you describe the child, the ideal graduate of a Netzach school, and you were speaking to someone who's thinking of coming to Herzegovina, and there are a lot of people like that, how will you describe such a child?

I meaning, I'm not sure how quite to get there, but Rav Baumbach, if you could become the Gadol HaDor and instruct people with [speaking Hebrew], what should happen? [laughs] Okay? Can you describe what the future of the Haredi community would look like vis-a-vis secular studies in the army and the rest of integration?

I would say, uh, first of all, to give legitimacy for young people who wants to go to, to the workforce, uh, to give legitimacy people wants to go in the protected army units, uh, to give legitimacy to say, "You are part of us, even you, you go to those places." I would say to close all the yeshivot, all the yeshivot, and to restart the elite yeshivot, like Mir and Ponovezh, the great, great yeshivot, where I think over 95% people will choose to go there, they're militarily.

I know them.

I, I also was in Mir.

I know what is meant to be in Yeshivas Mir, is really dedication for the Jewish, uh, uh, studies and, and by the majority, and then to start to give more, more legitimacy of combine, uh, uh, uh, the secular studies, Limudei Kodesh.

But I think the legitimacy, you know, I would never say because it's more private issues, but, um, some of a rabbi who was very against me in the beginning, he, he knows that two of his einiklach learns in my school, eventually learns in my schools.

He was against me and, and I, I would never say because I wanna protect his, the, the, uh, you know, the, the secrecy.

Part two is, given that that's the fear that is there, how do they overcome that fear? How do we overcome those reservations?

I wanna go to graduate school." I mean, how did that conversation take place?

So, um, [laughs] I say that, uh, I grew up in a- absolutely Mea Shearim.

I didn't was exposed to the outside world.

In the Independence Day, in our school, they closed the, the curtains.

We should not see the pilots are flying because, you know [laughs] it was really a antique sign.

Unbelievable, yeah.

Are you making it to the student themselves, or are you going to a family and saying, "Here's why your child should learn and, and gain a secular education"?
