was the first couple

of years like? I did.

No, you know, funnily enough, following on the path of care work and nursing, I had a great desire to want to help people.

and but the issue that i had initially was that um i felt that helping people improve their photography through by whatever means um i felt uh was a poor comparison to what i was able to do perhaps in a nursing environment um but there was a guy that once i was out with a guy and he said to me listen he said um The work that you do in helping people understand either their camera better or giving them thoughts or ideas or inspiration on how to take pictures or where to go.

He said, and same thing again, he said, you know, I use photography as a means of getting out for my mental health.

And if I'm able to do that to a better standard, a more enjoyable standard, he said, man, he said, honestly, that is worth its weight in gold.

And as soon as he said that, I thought, wow, okay.
