Kind of the same thing, like what's it used for? Like what's the benefits, et cetera?
12:22
cetera?Titanium Lift is super popular in Korea, and they call it the pretty maker.
12:29
So it actually is just now being rolled out in the United States even though the device has been around for decades.
12:34
Uh, this device actually rolled out as a hair removal device, and it was really unique because it had three wavelengths that fire simultaneously.
12:41
So no other device quite combines those wavelengths in the same way.
12:45
And so what they found...
12:47
And it was actually a, a clinic in South Korea that specialized in hair removal.
15:55
What would you say some of the most common myths and misconceptions you hear?
26:48
Is there anything coming up that you're allowed to talk about? Any campaigns that you're part of currently?
26:53
Yes, I'm currently working on a campaign called the Accessible Parenting Network, which will be supporting disabled parents to parent properly because the world currently isn't set up for us um actually what i've realized is me having one arm has nothing to do with it my baby being a baby has nothing to do with it it has everything to do with the world not being set up for someone like me to exist in it and you know we can look at the technology we have now We just need to believe that disabled people are capable and worthy of falling in love and getting married and having babies.
27:30
And the minute that we start to understand that, maybe our brands and our products and all of those things will start to become more accessible.
27:37
So that's a bit of campaign work I'm doing on the side.
27:40
And then I'm writing a couple of shows at the moment and still auditioning for whatever might come my way next.
27:53
Is it the kind of thing where you're writing and putting yourself in there or you're writing so you could be more behind the camera? Because these days it's not uncommon to see the same person stars, directs and produces.
28:05
Absolutely.
28:05
You are a nail on the head there, Darren.
35:21
Do you see this as the ultimate feminist moment within the show, a community of women from various generations supporting each other in a business that they own and run?
35:31
Absolutely.
35:32
With a fourth generation of, of the baby just, you know, there at the side.
35:38
It's amazing because, as you say, three women that we've watched grow throughout all of these seasons, and we've watched the lives they've lived and the difficulties that they've had to overcome, actually being in such a powerful position of making their own money and, and, and making, making waves actually.
35:56
You know, not just getting a job that means that they can pay bills, actually doing something that properly lights their fire.
36:05
And Ms. Scott loves a desk.
36:08
She loves organization.
37:34
What would you say you'll cherish as your happiest memory of working on Grantchester?
10:42
How does it feel post-Grantchester and post-baby to have the opportunity to talk about that publicly?
10:50
Yeah.
10:50
I, it's, it's exciting.
10:52
It's, uh, you know, this is something I've been talking about for a while.
10:56
Um, in 2018, my iPh- iPhone, my iCloud was hacked, and I had, um, intimate, uh, images released, and the papers picked up on it and ran stories with it, and it, it was sort of, it made national and international news, not because I'm anything special, but because sadly this happens to women on a regular basis, but very rarely does it happen to disabled women or, or women with a body difference.
11:22
And so, you know, I was fetishized.
11:24
I was told that my body should only exist for the pleasure of others.

20 MINS LATER

31:40
How does that single line of dialogue cut at the heart of the issue, the choices as a man that he made versus what's being forced upon her as a woman?
32:08
there anything you do to help you kind of get into character as far as like your voice, your posture, or just anything that kind of makes you feel 1950s?
32:18
I think the minute that I put the dress and the shoes on, you know, with some characters that you play, it's not always about the costume at all.
32:25
But I mean, look, quite literally in those dresses, I am I have no other option but to stand up straight.
32:32
So, you know, I'm stood up straight.
32:35
I'm not I'm not always breathing all too well.
32:40
That's a lie.
32:41
They are very comfortable costumes, but they certainly have got over the way that you stand and the way that you walk.
