So I felt it was really important for me to actually see the entire system as a whole.

So here is another way that I'm manipulating on the sample side, which is, like, an important part of microscopy, just like with expansion microscopy.

So here, I take the lipids out of my sample and then match the refractive index of protein to the solution that I have it in, and that makes it such that the proteins, which are all that's left in the brain, match the actual solution, which actually matches glass.
