As a business grows, as a business goes from being that micro business that maybe started at somebody's dining room table or in their garage, we've all heard those stories, and now they're this multi-location business.

I think it becomes hiring additional people in different roles that are more task-oriented than others.

So you first start, you're managing everything yourself, which is what a lot of business owners that I talk to are doing.

And then all of a sudden your business starts to grow, which is fabulous, but there's different areas where it makes sense to hire people.

And at that mid-range of growth, it's probably a little bit scary to turn things over to a bookkeeper.
