Melanie packed up her life in Toronto, and on June 2nd, 2017, she began her journey at Cape Spear Lighthouse in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Hi, everyone.

I'm here at Cape Spear, the most eastern point of Canada, where I'm going to start my journey across Canada.

It is June 2nd, 10:32, and I'm going to embark on my biggest adventure.

Am I happy? Yes.

Am I nervous? A little bit.

The Trans Canada Trail is a summary of roads, gravel roads, asphalt roads, trails, community trails or natural trails, and of, uh, waterways, which I kind of circumvented on roads.

She told me one of the most difficult times was in 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
