And moving to New Zealand, how did that impact your life?

Well, so I got with my daughter's dad when I was 18.

And I got pregnant with my daughter, Monica.

And he was a Kiwi.

And we moved over to New Zealand in 2010 when my daughter was two to be closer to his family.

And what happened there is...

I became more isolated because we lived out in the country and I got introduced to, well, I found methamphetamine and that kind of, because, you know, during growing up, In my young adult life, I still held down jobs and I bought a house when I was 18 and I sold it to come over here to New Zealand.

You've got no choice but to rise up.
