And several years ago, while doing something completely unrelated to writing, like perhaps scrubbing the shower, I had the random idea, because that's where all good ideas come from, when you're doing something that has nothing to do with writing or reading at all.

Megan SchaulisGUEST
I had the idea of what if Esther This wonderful, brave hero of the Bible was not only brave in her choices, but what if she was somehow physically able and trained to lead the charge into battle herself? So what if she was not only a figure who showed bravery in her words? but through her body and was physically capable to be a warrior of sorts.

Valerie FentressHOST
As you're writing this book, how did God kind of speak to you in the writing of a story that's so similar to an Esther story that everybody loves.
