And how do you take that off the mat?
34:39
Non-harming to me is... is pretty comparable with self-love and the compassion and kindness.
34:50
And for me on the mat there, because my yoga practice started in a more physical manner, like coming out of rehab after surgeries and all dance injuries and stuff, It used to be very literal of I'm not going to put myself into a situation of feeling uncomfortable ever in my life because that might mean something bad is going to happen and harm is going to come from it.
35:15
And it's grown into self-love being an opposite of self-judgment because on the mat, I used to have a practice that was very rooted in comparison.
35:30
whether to the instructor or the people around me in class.
35:34
And like, I wasn't good enough at the pose or my balance wasn't as good, or I didn't look the same way as the other people in the room.
35:45
And they looked so much more beautiful than I did doing this pose or at the end of the class or whatever it was.

Megan, how about you? How has your practice helped or hindered you in the concept of self-love and also in teaching others how to treat you?
