What did you see beyond just like the, like, hey, it requires a lot of people, what was the thing that you saw in rural communities that told you that this way was maybe not just broken, but but really didn't work for the way that rural communities work.

Megan LangleyGUEST
I mean, it's about, and I was just having an introductory call for Creative Community Solutions earlier this morning with a super small town that has some pretty significant needs.

Megan LangleyGUEST
And we were just talking about like, in what way do we level the playing field so that a town of 150 people can compete with an organization of $15 million, right? How do you level that playing field? And how do you invest in an idea, right? rather than like whether somebody's writing style matches what you are hoping to see.

Megan LangleyGUEST
So what we've seen, we have seen a significant uptick in the amount of applications that we had anticipated coming from rural, underserved, tribal, immigrant-based communities.

Megan LangleyGUEST
We have found that we have been able to invest at a higher rate in communities that are typically left out of that philanthropic system because of that application process, because we don't have a standard application.

Megan LangleyGUEST
We've found that we've been able to get really to the root of what people are trying to do and to build that relationship.
