So with all this in mind, how do we stay connected to this really meaningful work without feeling responsible to fix the system?

Megan CorcoranGUEST
There's a couple of things around systems change that I actually find can feel a bit more empowering rather than jarring.

Megan CorcoranGUEST
And one of the main ones I like to share with people is our experience of a system really comes down to the day-to-day interactions we're having within that system.

Megan CorcoranGUEST
And so if we can be this school and this hub that is doing this really well, then we are changing the system experience for that entire cohort of students.

Megan CorcoranGUEST
Or if I can just be a teacher who responded really well to a child or a family who really needed that support, I've just changed that system experience for that child and that family.

Megan CorcoranGUEST
And so it can be just those micro moments of interactions that can feel like we're actually helping a positive change.
