Sari KimbellHOST
Well, why don't you, uh, tell us a little bit about your brand, uh, what, who you are, what, what, what business you're in so we can get to know you and, and your product a little bit better.

Meg WittenmeyerGUEST
Well, starting the business was the brainchild of Joel because, um, he was a chef's apprentice in a previous lifetime about 35 years ago, and he worked under a European Swiss chef, and he brought his own recipes for these compound butters that were only used in his restaurants.

Meg WittenmeyerGUEST
And, um, over the course of his career in the United States, he had, like, four high-end restaurants and that's, he used those butters.

Meg WittenmeyerGUEST
And he passed the recipes on to his, you know, cooks and, uh, we're- we think there's maybe one other person alive [laughs] that still has these recipes.

And, um, you know, and I was asked this, like, "So what do you think is gonna happen next year?" And Joel is, his total focus is, is like, "I want everybody in America [laughs] to experience this awesome butter." I mean, he is just all about the butter, and, uh, and, and I think that's part of our success is that we believe in it so much.
