And it was after the COVID restrictions were lifted for the first c- time that I actually physically got to meet Sam.

But the rumors were there that they'd been caught in the Surrey Pride Hub office, the shop in Woking, that lies had been told about who he was, and it ranged from him being Charlie's cousin to Stephen's son from when he was married to a woman.

And Stephen was all over him like a rash and making comments about Charlie's anatomy in relation to Sam's.

And we went for a coffee the day afterwards, Kathy, myself, and Stephen, and we both said to him, "You cannot parade this young man around in the position that you're in as the founder of Pride in Surrey." And we were really worried about the ramifications of being seen to condone this, 'cause he, he looked extremely young.
