So these Elections Quebec documents, voter information documents basically, went out in the mail in French only.

And basically, if you wanted to access information in English, you had to go to the Elections Quebec website through – there was a QR code on the documents.

You'd scan the QR code and that would take you to the Elections Quebec website.

This is the first time that this has ever happened.

Previously in every single – Quebec election, the voter information has been sent out in both languages.

So what is being discussed about the homelessness crisis?

I don't think anybody was expecting this because traditionally in every single election campaign, you get voter information in the mail and it's always been in English and French.

And all of a sudden, with this voter mail-out, it turns out that the information is going to be going out in French only.

And for English-speaking voters who want to have access to the information they usually have in English right on the card itself, there's a QR code to be scanned.

So right away, there was shock, there was anger, there was frustration.

So the synopsis poll shows that, yes, the peak Q is still technically – well, it's a statistical tie, really.

The peak Q has 27%, but the CAQ has gone up seven points and is at 27% now.

So seven points, that – single jump in a very brief period of time is extremely significant and it is being attributed largely to the trade war with the U.S. and who is seen as best positioned to protect Quebec and in this current situation.

And right now, it seems that Fréchette is benefiting from all of the uncertainty caused by the trade war.

In times of uncertainty, people prefer stability where they can find it.
