Joshua HodgeHOST
Can you talk about the sequence of when that happened? Was that before your first product or after? And what was that about?

Max SchaeferGUEST
no it was it was after our first like two or three iterations of the product we already had it on the market we had like paying customers and all that stuff so we had some validation um and happy to talk about more about the journey the one caveat i would say is um everybody every company has their own path and raising capital is just a tool to take you on one of those paths.

Max SchaeferGUEST
And we took a very long time to decide whether or not we were going to take this funding path.

Max SchaeferGUEST
I think it, I think it for us was the right path and I still stand behind it and I'll, I could talk more about that as well, but I just want to have that as a caveat.

Joshua HodgeHOST
Can you talk a little bit about those experiences and just generally what you've been seeing in the world of music tech, how it's moving, where you see it moving in the future?

Um, this person, uh, ended up, um, working with our team to go through, um, hospital admission for withdrawal, uh, subsequently went through, um, residential treatment at Sacred Heart, and then followed very closely with us, um, as an outpatient after that.

Max SchaeferGUEST
Um, a lot of the side effects from swallowing, um, all the mood things, those things have essentially gone away, uh, despite his big surgeries once he stopped using alcohol.
5 MINS LATER

Max SchaeferGUEST
Yeah, that's a great question, and I, I think, um, it's a good opportunity to call out a lot of great work that's happening in the background.

Max SchaeferGUEST
Our community doesn't see, um, you know, a lot of the collaboration behind the scenes.
