don't get to be in it Can you talk a little bit about like when you're saying all of that, what this book is about and like the context of the book post-COVID, post-George Floyd, how are you, are you, do you have people that you give the book to to read for like clarity, for clarity? Just how do you I mean, other than like, the editor in the publishing house, right? Like, that's a really different person than like, hey, does this all sit right? Am I saying stupid shit? Or, you know, like, am I going to get canceled or whatever, all the things that you have to be a little bit aware of at this point with, you know, like, how do you do that?

Yeah, I have.

A friend who, a very close friend from my master's program, who's sort of my writing partner in not that we write together, but we regularly exchange what we're working on and sort of help each other with everything from just like sentence and syntax and word choice and as well as talking about content and concept, which is super helpful.

I hope every artist or creative person has that kind of relationship.
35:54
And I also think the kind of work you're making delineates how useful that kind of a relationship is, because writing for me is such a solitary act and such a turn inward.
36:07
You can get a little lost in it.
36:09
Like even at the syntax and sentence level, like you can be wiling out and write some paragraphs that you think are sick.
