... which can replace teeth immediately in a few hours.... for hundreds of times.

And when we look today at these jaws also, it's super, super interesting how large the diversity of shark teeth is.

The mako, they are quite simple.

They have just these long, tiny teeth to grab large fish and to bring them down to the stomach without cutting through.

But for example, if we look at bullet sharks, they have teeth in the front rows to grab the prey, and then at the back of the jaw there are teeth to crack shells, mussels, so highly developed.

If we look at zebra or leopard sharks, in German we are calling them translated zebra sharks because they are looking completely like a zebra as pups, and when they grow up, they earn the name leopard shark.
