well this person might be an egg so we'll see time will tell

anyway Lord knows what Sega was up to, but they needed some new hotness for the pattern, and they had to fuck all.

A very young man, aged 23, I think, no, I won't look it up, named Yukio Futatsuki, who basically just got there, pitched a few ideas, and Sega really liked that one was, as far as I can tell, basically just, quote, what if rail shooter? and immediately put him and a more old-timer arcade guy named Manabu Kusanagi as the founders and head of Team Andromeda, a brand new team made to make new Saturn games, specifically Panzer Dragoon.

In addition, and I promise I read this somewhere at the time from a good source, I cannot find the source now, but I remember, Futatsuki was a big fan of RPGs, and he really wanted to make an RPG.

But he got given a shooting game instead.

Obviously, this is relevant.

So I'm not actually going to get too into the weeds here.

if you want that listen to the dot hack gu long cast yeah
